1. Depth of Field
There is a little bit of depth of field in this picture because it is the sky. When you look at the sky you can look out as far as you can and you kind a depth of field kind of effect. I was zoomed in a little bit. So that would've given the effect as well. Overall there isn't a lot of depth of field.
2. Exposure
For exposure I made it a little bit dark. I like shooting my pictures a little under exposed because I think it looks better. I think that it also gives it better detail and color. I think overall the picture looks better a little bit under exposed. Only a little bit though.
3. Lighting
For my lighting I had the natural light from the sun. But like I said before I like when my pictures come out a little dark. So I made sure regardless of the sunlight that the picture what turn out a little dark. I think with this picture I got the perfect amount of lighting.
4. Lines
I couldn't really do much for lines since it's a picture of the clouds. But I could when I had to find the right line in the trees. So that not just the clouds were showing. But also had to make sure that not to much of the trees was showing.
5. Color/Value
Like I said previously I like making my end result picture a little darker than most people would make it. I think that color is definitely one of the most important things in a picture. (For Digital Photography). When I shot this picture I had to make sure that the value of the clouds was truly seen. Also the actual sky.
6. Composition
With putting all of these things together while I was shooting this picture, made this picture what it looks like. I don't think I would change anything. Im pretty happy with how everything turned out. I think the thing I like most is being able to see the clouds really well. Along with the actual blue color of the sky.

The only depth of field in this photo is the distance in the sky, which is basically as far as the eye, can see. The openness is nice because the camera’s view is not stopped by anything so as far as the camera can possibly pick up is as far as you can see and the clouds are a good reference for the distance.
ReplyDeleteThe exposure is nice; it’s not too bright but its not too dark. It’s more underexposed than over exposed. It gives it a nice somewhat darker theme yet still giving you that sunny day feel. I really like the exposure in this photo.
The photos lighting is really nice. You can tell that the lighting is all natural by the sun but the sun was behind the camera and maybe partially blocked by a cloud or something. This helps the exposure and giving it a nice darker tone to the whole image. I really like it.
There really aren’t any lines in this photo. The only thing I can think of is the trees because they stand out from the rest of the photo with the clouds and the sky. The lines on the trees bring your attention up to the rest of the photo.
The color is nice. It is kept simple with only a contrast of about three colors. There are varying colors of green and blue and it is a nice contrast I really like it. The sky goes from light to darker in a nice transition I think it’s really nice.
The composition of the photo is really nice because the clouds are almost perfectly in a pattern. The clouds reflect off of the sky and it’s color so nicely. The trees are in the perfect spot, you can barely see them peeking in but if there was more of them it would take over the picture. Very nice.
